Projects

  • Johan Carlier is using Gpiv on the wake behind a circular cylinder, the mixing layer and the co-flowing planar jet with or without thermal gradients. He is staying at CEMAGREF (ACTA Team). For this study he uses HWA, PIV and LDV. He also contributes to the development of new experimental techniques and methods of analysis at the INRIA (Fluminance).
  • Varun Reddy uses Gpiv to analyze blood flow in the ventricular of an artificial heart at the Artificial Heart & Cardiovascular Fluid Dynamics Lab of Penn State University.
  • An other hydrological project Gpiv is contributing to: George Gerber is using the code for his PhD study on --> sedimentation of dams. It measures displacements and local concentrations of the sediment.
  • Gpiv is used at the group Cardiovascular Biomechanics of the department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology in Eindhoven.
